Notes
- application/octet-stream représente des données binaires pour lesquelles il n'y a pas de programme spécifique attribué ;
- Google Video Viewer est basé sur VLC Media Player. Les deux peuvent être installés ensemble ;
- Bien que QuickTime puisse gérer du contenu Flash, il n'est pas recommandé de l'utiliser dans ce but ;
- Ce type MIME est géré nativement. Pour le remplacer, modifiez à 'true' la préférence plugin.override_internal_types en utilisant about:config ;
- Disponible à partir de Gecko 1.8 (Mozilla Firefox 1.5, SeaMonkey 1.0). Pour le remplacer, modifiez à 'false' la préférence svg.enabled en utilisant abour:config ;
- text/plain est du texte plein, toutefois certains fichiers ne sont pas servis correctement avec ce type MIME. Une détection est assurée pour les contenus non-texte servis comme text/plain [Détails... (anglais)].
